βHOW DOES THE INTERCOM WORKβ
1. People can ring the intercom by entering your flat number and pressing the call button.
2. This will dial to your phone numbers, in priority order.Β
The first number will ring for 15 seconds.
Process repeats until the final number rings for 30 seconds and they can leave a voicemail.
By picking up the phone normally, you can speak to the person at the door.
3. You can press hash (#) on your phone to unlock the door they dialed the intercom from.
You can let yourself in if you forgot your fob but have your mobile.
You can ask the delivery driver to drop the parcel in the postroom, and let them in.
Important Notes:
The intercom can be setup to ring a landline or mobile number.
The main door intercom (from the Granary into reception) has all flat numbers configured and can ring anywhere.Β
Each block's individual intercoms has the numbers of their residents.
The intercom's phone number is static - you can save that down.
If you have an intercom phone on the wall, that doesn't work going forward and can be removed.
π€ INTERCOM NOT WORKING? π€
1. Email the directors group (directors@oneelevenmanagement.com) or message Charles on Whatsapp, stating:
Your flat number.
List of your phone numbers in priority order for the intercom to ring.
2. Phone numbers will be configured.
Receptionist or a director will respond and confirm intercom is ready to test.
Go downstairs, enter your own flat number and press the call button. The phones should ring in sequence.
Try picking up and letting yourself in.
